Goodbye Gene 😞🫂

I knew something was wrong when I sent a message to you on father's day and didn't hear anything back, then my birthday came and I messaged you one thing about it and then didn't hear anything back, then your birthday came and I messaged you again and didn't hear anything back, so I called and expected to hear your voice, but instead your son answered and told me you passed away the day before your birthday 😞 

I'm going to miss you Gene (EJ Gene Torres) 😞 

I'm going to miss talking about our lives and families 😞

I'm going to miss meeting up with you when you came into town for work 😞 

I'm going to miss your fatherly advice for me when I struggled with life and decisions 😞 

But I'm glad to have been a friend of yours for 18 years. Thank you for coming into my life when you did and being around for me like you were 🫂
